As promised, a lesson on Neil Young's "My My Hey Hey." I'm teaching it on a 12-string, but of course, you don't need a 12 string to play it.

  • I'm just starting to learn, but would a capo on the first fret do the same thing?? Tune down a step???

  • @alimony812 Sorry, no. That would move it up a half-step. There isn't an easy option to match Neil. You could put the capo on the 10th fret and that would be the same key, but moved up a whole octave. It would sound strange (and high), I think. And it would be very difficult to play way up there.

  • Your dog scared the shit out of me.

  • @mikelad777 She's a very scary dog. Except that she's fat and old.

  • i didnt learn nothing from you give up teaching

  • @dadios12764 Oooh! Can I teach you something about English? C'mon...it's one of my favorite subjects...English has this obsession with the double negative...the Spanish never never worry about it.

  • I'm glad he wasted a minute of my life explaining how to tune a guitar down a whole step.....

  • woof woof!

  • Slow it down a little bit. I think the song(lesson) is for newbies like I am. It sounds great but I had to watch it couple of times.
