I remember this song from the New York City early-90's club scene. Don't know if the hair, makeup and fashions were original then, but the crazy, over-the-top "Club Kid" style has certainly been co-opted by many mainstream artists since. For those of us going to clubs then, Lady Gaga's style today generally looks like a mashup of what was popular then. These small performers were part of a much larger artistic and cultural movement. Too bad Moi Rene didn't live long enough to see that. RIP.

they say that if you go in the bathroom and turn off the lights and scream "miss honey" 4 times and on the 5th time say "I know you hear me callin' you miss honey, she will appear in the mirror and sing this song until it drives you crazy.
