Astonishing.
But I agree with some other opinions, this pattern or approach does'nt fit to the real application development.

Great demo though.

I've just started using Fireworks CS4 for rapid prototyping and it actually does a half decent job. This new Catalyst software makes me wonder if adobe is planning to dump it though?

I think there developers are jealous, because those who develop using this software need not study AS3.......... they can develop same kind of stuff wic might have been needed to write codes........

good softwares for noobs, whos want to think they as3 developers... but it is absolutely useless in serious development in my opinion.

U dont get it... It's basicly not a tool for a developer...

This is only for designers so the real developers dont need to worry about viewstates and buttons / scrollbars and all the frontend stuff..

Flex is made in Actionscript 3.0, and you can code everything in actionscript 3.0 or in mxml so a flex developer (like me) definitely knows actionscript 3.0

I got it right, i'm a developer too so i know what i talk about.. the only problem with flex is the mxml performance issues , if you use a lot of comp's .. its get dramatically slower then the pure as3 projects (becouse of the sizeing and position calculations by flash player).. so the only thing i dont get about this software , why they want to build mxml based stuff ... thats good for a mini app but impossible to use on larger projects well.

it looks like flash but way easier!

But does the mousewheel work in flash on mac yet?
