  • Bernie - thanks for taking the time to catalog the build. I know it takes just a few minutes for each of us to watch these, but much longer to make and edit the video.

    I wasn't aware that anyone was using green wood to build aside from windsor chairs and historical demostrations.

    This was a first for me - the client was quite happy fo me to experiement, and im delighted t osay it was a sucess. Im just surprised more arent doing it - but then i come across the most frightful twaddle from many who have been in the education system, so im not that surprised - we dont use planers because they leave ripples - we dont use sanding macines because they take the edges off - we dont use varnish because the wood rots from the inside -
