my f12 key popped of and i cant get it on, can you do a video of installing? Please also dont reply asking is i pushed really hard. I cant find anything on the web about how to do this. It shouldnt be this hard...

@nodstradamus Actually, I could play Crysis 2 on the Gamer (High) and I think even on Advanced (Very High). The problem is though, it gets really hot and slows down when playing. It's because the fan is clogged with dust.

@blackwhimsy I've had this laptop for a long time, now. never had any neck problems, it did start getting hot recently but after a clean inside it's cool as a cucumber, with the cpu temp never really getting over 55. if you want a laptop to sit on your lap and be at eye level though... its gonna need a 2 foot screen...

How high does the screen sit?Could you sit it on your lap comfortably? I need a new lappie since my Dell 6400 died and need one that can handle games and doesn't make you crink your neck by looking down.I need it to be eye level.Is it? Does it get hot?

@alem000 dude.... I got mine refurbished for 450 from geeks.com.... i hope i'm not too late - 800 is way too expensive for a refurb... in fact, 800 is too expensive for a new one :(

i love this computer..only thing i dont like...it gets hot..but its a gaming laptop so thats goin to happen..other than that its amazing :D

On the little Screen just above the key pad where people say it shows the battery life ect. how do you get that set up? on mine the logo Republic of Gamers just stays on and does nothing else? can you help me fix it

You need to go to Asus Direct Console Program to set it up.
