    You think those people, who are inventing cameras, can cure diseases instead? Like it's just some switch you flip? No.

    They are inventing cameras, because they are interested in inventing cameras.

    Not everyone CAN help with curing diseases. If we want more people who can, the way to do that isn't taking the camera inventors off the job - it's by funding scholarships for people who WANT to be in the field and who have the real potential TO help cure disease.

    Anything else, is the waste of time.
