Paul Ryan - Mother's health exception to abortion is "Mack truck" sized loophole

April 5, 2000 - During the debate on a partial-birth abortion ban, Paul Ryan says that "the [mother's] health exception is a loophole wide enough to drive a Mack truck through it." He goes on to describe the procedure in question, concluding his statement by saying that it is medically unnecessary.

Rape is only cited as reason for abortion in 1% of cases. The reality is 84% of abortions are performed by single women, most for relationship or financial reasons. You have people screaming in the margins and avoiding the real conversation.

If one stops and reflects back in time I have never heard Mittens ask the pubic what they want him to do as President, nor have I heard Ryan ask the public. This is quite disturbing. It seems they want to dictate what their platform and agendas are in governing.Their is no humble pie to share in their party. What are their agendas? Oh I'm sure he isnt quite as bad as the republicans, but I wouldnt say he is "good" , to me he comes across as a smug guy who is running for president because he feels its his destiny, rather than a guy who would run because he thinks he would do good.
