What do you do when tomatoes do not make it to season.
Make green tomato pie.
Linda has been making pies since the age of twelve years old.
She was asked to make all the pies for the family at Thanks Giving that year and saw all the smiles on their faces.
Making pies is a lost art. More young people need to learn how to make things from scratch.

Pies are a comfort food good to eat and great to share.
When Linda had her bake stand down on the corner of Short Tract she would sell 45 pies a wk end.
She has taught many that want to learn. She got her skills from her mom and Grandma Amy. She just found out that her great great Grandfather from Germony had his own bakery in Germany...thats where the bug came from!!
Realy thoe she will tell you its all about the smiles on peoples faces when they take a bite of warm pie from the oven!!
