@quincee33 The only downside to a getaway sled down here is the trail i left.I might as well drop bread crumbs.I'd have a great head start though.I remember those phazers.I liked the headlight setup but wasn't allowed to like yamaha's.My arctic cat family bought me a polaris because it was wrecked in a game of 'chicken'.We were poor, living in a trailer, but had sleds, and motorcycles.Dad's priorities were messed up,lol.I loved it.
@noblepuker lol, 3 years is a long time. i've always thought a great heist movie would be to have the robbers take off on snowmobiles.....perhaps ththey're waiting for the storm of the season...would be a cool idea....since it hasn't been done yet. i think the 2nd Die Hard had Yamaha Phazers in it, but not too many movies with sleds.
@quincee33 no,they don't know what sleds are in kansas city. The snow is adequate for a few days after each of the 5 snows.I wish i had my TX here.I'd love to get drunk, and run the streets flippin cops off. They wouldn't know what to do.I could rob a bank maybe...hmmm.Sorry for the late reply.HAHA By the way, this is the oldest comment in my history...3 yrs.
I had a 440 Intruder. Good sled. Compared to modern sleds it rode like a lumber wagon, but it was fast and tough. I dumped it a few times, but she kept going. It only left me afoot once...of course when it was -40F.
@quincee33 I never got into the Kawasaki sleds but I would imagine they had a lot in common with the Cat engines. The Kawasaki Snow-Jet as well I would think. You have a good eye.I loved the looks of the Kawi sleds too.

I still think a 440 would kick ass in the 400-499cc class at a radar run
