@Lym0re - according to mx4229 up there, there is enough food source to support a large eel like a conger or moray... He may have been dumped in years ago as a small fry... and fed on lake plankton like copapods and rotifiers until he grew to monster size...
There's huge critter' in Lake Pocotapaug in E. Hampton (Middlesex County) CT. Its rumored to be a large snapping turtle. A friend of mine was heel injured on its back while water skiing. Thought it was a rock at first until it dissapeared.
Bootlace.....that was an almost decent eel.But considered a bootlace in Aotearoa.

chamberlains got eels, im a bethany resident and ive caught small ones before. as for the 20 ft snake that spookysr's talkin about.....BULLSHIT
