@001001110110 You're very welcome :-)! In return, I'd love to hear what you think of the pen, once you've had a chance to try it out!

@sbrebrown Man you are a legend! Thank you so much for mentioning the M1005 to me :-) Ordered it today and cant wait to open it up and compare...

@Racojaws ;-).

@retro51fan @arguan Yes, perhaps a Q-tip isn't too bright an idea. And Baystate Blue takes care of every demon, I think :-).
-
@stranngerable yes, this one does lay flat. I'll try to record a review during the weekend.

@arguan YES!! I meant to write "......to the inner walls of the barrel with a toothpick".....but I exceed the # of characters limit in my reply post, so I went back and edited stuff and omitted the key phrase "with a toothpick". Thanks for pointing that out!
Oh, and yes---Baystate Blue ink will smite ballpoint demons, undoubtedly! ;)
I believe it's an Asian pen, but has a GERMAN nib, so the nib sizes are standard "western".

@creakinglemon You're right: these are Asian pens with German nibs. However, as far as I know, these nibs are produced according to the specifications provided by the pen maker. For example, Visconti nibs are produced in the same nib factory, but my Visconti M is broader than the TWSBI B.
