Can someone tell me why in school and in the books they teach us to call patients: CLIENTS? Perhaps because the healthcare system has profited for year from people's health. We have a very inhumane system going on. Talk about how hard it is to get in a nursing program and how expensive it is to study it.

truth about nurses: the profession has so called horizontal violnce which means nurses treat each other very bad. They are the worse kind of raging bitches (excuse my language) you will ever come across as a human being. The next kind are black women. The are the two most misearble kinds of women out there. Just stating the facts.

California is releasing thousands of developementally disabled and few nurses can handle severely autistic population! California families need GOOD cnas and lvns to help keep their children OUT of institutions.

Nursing is the most suck ass occupation a person can have. I made the mistake of getting a BSN, and wasted years of my life getting it. Thank god, the college where I went had a program so I could go back and get a different degree.

Nursing is shit work, you make tons of money for hospitals, doctors, insurance companies, etc, and are treated like dog shit in the process. Three months till graduation, then I throw my BSN in the trash, where it belongs.

Seriously, they need to remove this video. There is NO nursing shortage. I have been putting in application left and right in my home state and boundary states and NOTHING. Not even an interview. I am not a NEW nurse either, I have 3 years experience in skilled nursing care as an LVN. So, please, if you want a job, nursing is not the profession. I should have fun when my loan payments start coming in :-|

There is no shortage of nurses , only qualified nurses. So called nurses are being turned out a dime a dozen by diploma mills, i know iv'e worked with them. As far as that so called nurse in the video is concerned i doubt she knows the difference between salicylic acid and acetaminophen. Focus on the real shortage qualified nurses.
