A remix of Kim Weston's incredible song "I Got A Weak Heart"

Written by Brian Holland, Lamont Dozier, and Edward Holland Jr.
Produced by Brian Holland and Lamont Dozier
Track recorded: September 22, 1965
Strings recorded: September 28, 1965
Vocals recorded: October 8, 1965 & December 22, 1965

A song that should have been an A-side single, however was left in the vaults for 40 years until it was released on the CD collection - "Kim Weston: The Motown Anthology" in 2005.

Kim Weston, Holland-Dozier-Holland, The Andantes, The Funk Brothers, The Detroit Symphony Orchestra.....could it get any better that that?!

  • I wish this tune was released as a single!!!

  • Full Kim! Not forgetting the Andantes! All awesome!

  • I'll never understand how motown didn't promote such an amazing singer

she didn't even have one motown solo album

not even one and "take me in your arms" which was canceled would have been an amazing album

  • Kim Weston is a Motown legend who never got her just due...listening to this classic rhythm cooker one wonders what happened...must have been political cause this great singer is the ultimate voice from classic sixties Motown era...Bravo Kim!!!
