  • This is an excellent entertainer, excellent writer, musician and true to himself. A very, very talented man.

  • @amusedbygod What a coincidence, "Holding on to you" is my favorite song by him ! I don't care about him not being " polished" as you would say. I like his music the way it is, raw and real. I think it's more precious that way.

  • Still Love This Song!

  • @SuperBillyf So that means h could kick somebodys ass¿

  • Legitimate artist!! he was Grammy Award nominee that night against Swing Out Sister, Jodi Watley, Breakfast Club and Cutting Crew... for the best new artist!! amazing competition back in the days and all of them were damn amazing!! To compare them with the current "pop" artist would be absurd! This is music!!

  • I remember this performance from when it was still relevant; i.e the 80s'.

  • I bought his album in '87. He was hailed as the next Michael Jackson which to be honest probably made things difficult. He was a champion army boxer by the way.

  • he is a great performer, musician, composer, and what a voice

  • this is sooo jackson 5!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @tributevocalist Actually Who's Loving You was originally penned, written and sung by Smokey Robinson.

  • @DiamondinMJ He undoubtedly does, but his voice is not under fire. I always thought and still think today that his productions were never so polished as they could be. They always struck me as pretentious poetic works from an overblown ego, albeit I liked/like him. His best and most polished song is 'Holding on to You', but that's not to say that you should think any differently.
