@TheDancingSaxophone of course i did that was actually the first version of little wing i ever heard and i felt in love with it. But still jimi's version is the best in my opinion because he invented it that's all.

Kirk totally botched the intro! He sounded liked Ace Frehley for thirty seconds or so. Then it got better (surprisingly) for a few moments, then once again degraded into a horrible "stock" (as Metallica likes to say) metal solo which was the final Coup de gras to Hendrix's immortal and beautiful song. A butcher could have done a better job with a few strands of sinew and some bones!

There's so many that cover this tune and you can't even tell its little wing.. at least Kirk left in some of the "feel" of the tune.. It ain't Hendrix or SRV, but the fact that Kirk covered it is a very nice compliment to Jimi's work.
