Edited in Sony Vegas ; Put in 50% Black & White and Basic Color Correction.

Great Video Quality, I myself own a D3100 and Sony Vegas, But the problem is, when i put the footage on the timeline of sony vegas, and play that footage, it is soo slow in processing it frame by frame, if you can, please tell me what you've done when you uploaded the video on your computer. and is your video on MVI or DSC...

I simply just drag and drop the files into Sony Vegas 10 pro, with has been designed to handle DSLR video. i then just change the preview quality to GOOD -> Half or Quarter. that usually does the trick :D

if you still have the problem look up media converters for DSLR's :DD

Are you referring to auto-focus ? Cause i was using Manual, and the scene mode was set to auto.
