This is supposed to be a bit of GOP hate propaganda against Senate candidate Hagan in North Carolina.

It turns out to be so hilariously out of touch that one must wonder if these theocons of the GOP ever leave their church and look around the wider world.

Perhaps this ad will incite hate among some dim-witted, banjo playing, KKK reared bigots in North Carolina; but how can the GOP not see that they are undermining what little credibility they have left with the wider, slightly more sophisticated world?

I respect believers just fine. I don't respect there beliefs in the slightest.

There's been this idea built up that because it's somebody's religious beliefs, you have to respect that. Why should anyones beliefs be any more immune to criticism than people who believe in Bigfoot or the tooth fairy? Blind faith is willful ignorance.

God is real and you know it. you may not see it, but i'm sure you find out soon enough he is real. And if God lets something bad happen, he has a reason for it. He has reason for everything. God knows you before you were even born. Some of the bad things happening to people actually tests character. And in reality, The Bible teaches us respect and love, even to athiests and pray for them I hope athiests see that God is real. The bible even has prophecies that actually came true.

i agree with you pastgoing, I'm a Christian myself. And God is real and have seen so through the bible and his prophecies in it. And not every christian is perfect. There will be mess ups and temptation. I love everyone even athiests because God says to love our enemies and its not always easy, and we should pray for them too. Christianity is considered religion but its really a relationship with God. I wish people would realize God is real. He's helped me a few times and shown me things. :)

The Kay Hagan ad was one of the major factors in the defeat of Libby Dole. Most people in North Carolina were repulsed by the sleaziness of the ad.
