This is me and my dad just playing around. I know i'm not that good on the Bass yet but thats ok. i just got it today and i learned how to play this song in about 10min. Im really starting to catch on to it really fast. I'll keep yall in-formed on how im do'n please rate and comment.

Word of advice from an avid bass player, shelbygt5ooe said you need to pick with your fingers, this is only true in some cases. It depends on the style of music that your playing (still miller's bassist played with fingers) if you decide to do any hard rock or metal stuff you would usually use a pick though because of the initial attack that a pick adds to the sound.

you need to pick with your fingers so that it has a smother more relaxed tone if you do that and play louder it will be much better and listen to the song to good luck

well i've only been playing for about a week so im just learning how to do it. But i'll take your advice and thank you so much for taking time to listen do it. But im getting better every day. I've been playing guitar for 3 months and im really really good at it now. I learned how to play my first song in about a hour. and that was last kiss. But any way thank you so much

I feel like there are some cases when a pick is justified. Just not on this song, or many others. I also prefer fingers because it feels so damn good haha. I'll screw with my EQ forever just so I can play finger style on some songs.

hey this is a little late, but also from a bassist, even 60's rock such as the Beatles McCartney usually always used a pick except on some songs like I am the walrus, all my loving, and the fool on the hill
