Those strings really make a difference on the box shaped uke! Sounds so much richer than the others to my ears. The mahogany one is close though.

Since I own a tenor soft-case.....and my son just stepped on and broke my concert uke.....I guess I now have an excuse to buy a tenor uke (yes, I've been looking for a reason to buy one......didn't Freud say, 'There are no accidents.'?!)

I like how you switch instruments (very flawless editing, by the way).

Are the strings on the tenor ukulele (tuning) the same as violin, e.g. E, A, D, G? I am learning violin at the moment and the tutor told me I could apply the knowledge (of the strings/finger positions) to a tenner ukulele. However, these little pink/green ones that you strum would have entirely different strings/tuning.

@LegalAcademia Soprano, Concert and Tenor ukuleles are usually tuned GCEA, although some people prefer to tune them up a step (ADF#B). Baritone ukuleles are tuned like the high four strings of a guitar. Violins share the same tuning as mandolins, which is where your tutor may be getting confused.

I think the cigar box sounds best. It would be great for bluegrass finger picking with those strings. Like like like ; )
