  • But what should the outline look like? That's what I'm having trouble with. Outlining the chapters is confusing and creating it into a structure even more so.

  • @TheUnstoppable072 The best way to start an outline is with brainstorming all the topics you want to cover in the book. Start with the main topics and then put all the subtopics under each main topic. Each main topic is a chapter and then once you get the subtopics, start playing with them until you get them in an order that makes sense. You can link like ideas together or go in chronological order. The more you practice with this sort of outlining, the easier it gets.
