Def Leppard Lady Strange Live 1980

This is from the 1980 Reading Festival. The sound is not great, but this, like the "Me and My Wine" video are examples of Def songs before Mutt works with the band. You can hear the subtle changes. This is a second and better version of the other video I loaded earlier. Hope you enjoy.

What is Phil Colin doing in this video clip at 1:50? Pete Williis baby!!! He contributed in a big way to the hardcore sound of the 1st 3 Def Lep albums (as did Steve Clark). Too bad they are both gone. That being said, I still think Phil Colin did a great job on Hysteria.

Wow! Thanks for putting it in perspective of how much Mutt contributed to the band's sound. You can really tell with this song with how it is here and how it ended up on the album.

Too bad there isn't a video of this show. It was a brutal experience for Def Lep.  They had all sorts of crap thrown at them. They thought it was the end of the line.
