This weeks episode Larry takes a look at the crime fighting car game Chase H.Q. one of the first titles to teach the world that a car game doesn't have to be all about racing.

Do you suppose Lucky & Wild got any inspiration out of this? That was one of the gems of my childhood even though I never got past the third stage even with my brother behind the wheel.

@TriggerheartExcelica Quite possibly. I really enjoyed it myself in arcades.  It was certainly better than SCI.

Actually, Taito also released "Ray Tracers" for the original playstation back in 1997. Which was basically Chase HQ in 3D, only with a different name.

I have out of options on this game .. I have tried everything to let this game run on the emulator sadly still not working .. I have download the rom from different websites just in case sadly still not working .. please help :(((

the Saturn version is the best and it comes with SCI on the same disk :) Burnout 3 Pursuit missions are Chase HQ in the future! they give me the same feeling Chase HQ used to. i ussed to love playing Chase HQ on the ferry as a kid :)

Loved this game back in the day. I remember spending all kinds of time playing it in the arcades in various states of altered consciousness.
