You didn't even really need psychology or suggestion for this. She said it all at the beginning: "My hands are too small". You could very easily tell which hand she had it in just by the shape of her fist. I skipped through the video and got it correct all four times just using that method. It might've worked better if you used a smaller item, unless your aim was to make one hand stand out in the way it did. But I feel like people would notice that easily.

@TorugaMagic I just love the little barnum statement you threw in there "You're very upfront, you're a very honest person, not quite sure of your future" :P
@MrSuperbird13 I don't know but the recommend books section of Derren's site features Paul Eckman's Emotions Revealed - Recognizing faces and feeling to improve communication and emotianal life and also What everybody is saying by Joe Navarro, an ex-FBI agent. Haven't looked into them yet, but they seem interesting enough.

@TorugaMagic This is awesome! How do you read peoples body language in this video for example? I'm trying to learn about all these psychology stuff and im quite new at it. could you tell me please?

haha im going to message you personally because i figured out how you win 100% of the time! :) loving the way they beleive you.. your convincingly good :)

When you pick a volunteer, what do you look for to know that the persons body language will be readable?? Do you look for the one who is scratching their neck in shyness - because they are very active with body language or does that mean they will give off too many body language signs and be distracting???
Thank you for posting these videos, I have been reading a lot of NLP and 'physical psychology' books and your videos really help to demonstrate the concepts.

@TorugaMagic hmmmm....are you trying to tell us that your just feeling for the heavier hand ? "i try to HEAVILY influence..."...or the hand that just feels more tight?
-
haha she was a really good participant, in the sense that her tells were very obvious. really wish i met more of these kinda ppl when doing this particular trick

yeah, I guess so. However u did a great job. I saw Derren Brown's show in which he influence Simon Pegg to choose a BMX bike. So i had a little try this to my friend, but useless.
i just wanna know how u did this. from my perspective u use NLP to make her choose the hand u want via ur talking, right? and u use the body language to identify whether she was lying or protecting the hand with ball in the 3rd and 4th play. i'm not sure. but it's amazing. maybe u should write a something. email me how u did this plz.....

thanks for your kind comments! Yes, u are mostly correct.. I try to HEAVILY influence the decision they make first.. then I try to interpret body language, speech, blinking patterens, etc. as well..
