  • The best stealth game! I don't know why, but this game fascinates me. When I completed it, a few days later I started again.

  • Yes. A true classic. And one of the best games of 2004, IMHO.

  • i love where it goes from 2:50 on... i can imagine garret in his dark room... contemplating his next move by a small candle.

  • @fascismanarchy But the story line was better in the previous games. I personally think that thief 1 was the best.

  • In a way...deadly shadows is the best Thief game untill now. It's Thief 2 but with better graphics, brilliant enemy AI (guards will notice things like open doors, shadows over the wall and they're a lot more ''alive'' than the guards in thief 1 and 2.) and the levels are no longer linear. And the climbing gloves and switching between third and first person are refreshing game elements. The only bad things about thief 3: there are no rope arrows and Garrett doesn't have a sword.

  • One would commit suicide by listening to this tune. Awesome atmosphere!

  • @ZemplinTemplar Undoubtedly, the game would have been far better without the implication of magic and instead as a more realistic story wherein the main protagonist (the player) attains independence from the collective superstition of the people throughout its world, and who merely seeks to exploit power from the contemporaries of whom wield it.

  • One of the darkest of the soundtrack, love the part after 2:42, it constantly plays in Garrett's house in a somewhat different tone - I will have to find it; a mysterious pulsation in the shadows. This game was so far ahead of its time with such an excellent soundtrack, and still remains one of the best games ever created up to now.

  • is it me or is the image moving?

  • EPIC game, EPIC soundtrack
