also Xotes, rancheras, rasguido dobles, new elements brought by emigrants one hundred years ago to this region of Argentina. Thanks to initiatives like this, my music and music from other places get an opportunity to be interpreted and to depict the place whence they come.
The accordion is an instrument i love. I've wanted to play it since i was a small child. Even though nothing is too certain when you are a child, at that time i had the certainty i wanted to play this instrument.
"Place where i come from is the northeast of Argentina, province of Misiones -which is a kind of wedge placed between the south of Brazil and Paraguay- and the whole region is sorrounded by huge rivers -really big and wide rivers, Paraná and Uruguay. High temperatures are usual there. The most popular and enthusiastically played folk music there is called "chamamé" -still the music in the area does not include only chamamé, but other more newer rythms, namely polkas brought by the immigrants,
