I don't have a problem with adults who like to have fun with their kids. My complaint is when adults just take over the games AND rides; leaving the kids with nothing. Last time I took my kid to CEC he had to wait over an hour to play one of the games that a husband & wife had taken over, despite the sign that was posted up asking patrons to NOT hog the games. My son doesn't even like CEC now BECAUSE of that. I mean, they contradict the slogan: "where a kid can be a kid."

@MzTJones80 Well, I've never seen that before. You said games, not rides, ha. My complaint is that the last time I went, those rocket ship kind of kiddie rides were practically all they had. Not really anything entertaining for adults at all. Even the show was gone, and the pizza sucked. I remember when I was a kid, Chuck E. Cheese pizza was freakin' delicious. Don't know why they have the change/mess with everything. But, I think adults who can enjoy stuff like that are the best kind of adults.

When I go to CEC and see a rocket ship (ride) that's about as long as my arm; I'm expecting to see a TWO YEAR OLD riding it; NOT a 35 year old! Unless of course, you're going to tell me that you know a few 35 year olds who look two...............:-|

You totally missed my point.................

@MzTJones80 Incidentally, the last girl I dated (like a month ago) was too young to drink. So what? I don't drink anyway, and she was a legal adult. We probably would have a great time at Chuck E. Cheese together if it didn't suck. And, honestly, she looked a lot younger than she was, so ya never can tell. But then, I hear I look a lot younger than I am too.

@MzTJones80 I think we're coming from different places on this, actually. I'm 36, and I WISH they had good enough games to play at Chuck E. Cheese that I would want to hog. The disgrace to me was that they had only baby stuff compared to what they had when I was a kid. In truth, a place like Chuck E. has more nostalgic value for 30-somethings than it has entertainment value for today's kids. That's why the last one I went to catered to babies, but they SHOULD target nostalgic adults instead.

So true. When I was a kid, we had Showbiz too. A place where kids could have fun, etc. Now, at Chuck E. Cheese, I see more adults taking over the games, acting as if the place is a nightclub, while kids have to sit out and wait until all the grown ass people are done having their fun. I even saw a guy who looked about 30, with a girl who looked about 16. I guess his date wasn't old enough to go to the bar to drink with him. So they had to settle for Chuck E. Cheese.

Que le paso a chuck e cheese pizza, yo de niño veia a los animatronics y me encantaba verlos cantar, ahora no visito ese lugar pues el atractivo era el espectaculo

OMG i remembered going to Showbiz alot when we lived in St. Louis and Omaha back in the 80's. This is too awesome for words, i had a few birthdays and would sometimes go to Showbiz after seeing a movie which is one of the theaters located near Showbiz. I would play their games, enjoyed their chicken and delicious pizzas.
I don't care what anyone says, I loved this kind of shit, and I wish it was still around! Man, last time I visited a Chuck E. Cheese, it was disgraceful. I remember the one we had for a very short period when I was a kid, and that was awesome. And we didn't have Showbiz, we had Funtime, but it was the same thing basically. Not as good as Chuck E. at all, or even as good as in this ad, but it was still decent. Nothing like that I know of now.
