Assignment was to create a 1 minute long title sequence.
My first method of developing a concept was to pick a song that was upbeat and had a smooth tempo throughout. I chose the song "Osaka Loop Line" by Discovery. The song takes place in Osaka, Japan on a railway named Osaka Loop Line. I understood that the type of train running on this line wasn't a steam engine, but rather an electric rail. I thought the beat of the song reminded me of the sound a steam engine makes, therefore I based my images around a steam engine train. Then I just followed the song and created images that went along with the lyrics.
