IMHO, both 'The Man from Snowy River' and 'The Return to Snowy River' were Disney's finest.

My favourite movie of all time ... I don't think I've heard a soundtrack that fit the theme of a movie better than this, it all worked together magically and is very uplifting, it does bring a lump to my throat everytime. Like the final scene where Jim brings in the horses by himself ... think I might go and watch it now :)

The score to this movie is amazing. One cannot help but be moved by this soundtrack. I defy any Australian not to stand that little bit taller when the score breaks into Waltzing Matilda, brings a lump to my throat every time. An Australian classic woven into one of the most beautiful pieces of music. Just brilliant.

I think my favourite part is when it goes into Waltzing Matilda (1:31), but the whole soundtrack is phenomenal. Deserved an Oscar for sure.

Oh, this still sends shivers down my spine. My father was in the Royal Australian Army Band. This is a staple number in many of their shows, it is beautiful and moving when you hear/see it played by a full military band.
