http://www.notebooks.com The Dell Adamo XPS is about 10mm thick, making it the world's thinnest notebook. It's even thinner than an iPhone 3Gs

  • in my personal opinion: I think its UGLY. the macbook air maybe thicker, but the design is much better than that.

Uh, no. Apple pretends at innovation. Apple's closest attempts at innovate are NOT in computing, they're in devices. And specifically just one: the iPod. The iPod itself was not particularly innovative (but a Walkman was), however, it was very well marketed.

Apple's innovation is limited to one single broad area only: MARKETING.

    End of story.

Steve Jobs stole the icon paradigm from Xerox in 1979. Scores of other companies innovated the products that Jobs and Apple went on to improve and tweak. I appreciate your argument, however, Apple is an innovator in marketing only. Let's be clear and objective about the world "innovation". Innovation means to wholly reconceptualize a paradigm. Apple has never done this except in promotion. Every product they've succeeded with is directly borrowed from the innovator itself.

ya i have to disagree. Lets put it this way. It took apple 9 years to sell 300 million ipods and it took sony 30 years to sell 250,000 walkmans. Also the ipad. Complete innovation. now guess what everyone is copying apple on the tablet but no other competitor can do it. Again the mac. A big innovation. it did what no other computer could do at its time and it set the industry standard. Oh ya and the iphone. Good god how did you miss all of this stuff. Think before you speak

  • why do i want a really thin laptop tht will snap in half if i sneeze at it

  • big issue it can't be opened right?

  • So they look ugly as hell, slow and both of those 2 computer cost over $1000.

  • Mac computers are beyond shit. I am not willing to debate this stance because all Mac Fags will just brandish the 'OMG ITS SILVER AND FITS IN A VANILLA ENVELOPE' line at me, which I don't want.

  • HP looks nicer
