The new Lancer & Impreza are not quick enough, for the sort of money you could buy a proper badge like a BMW 1 Series M or a Audi RS3. Maybe 10-15 years ago they were worth it.

@thebugguy212 maybe the sti could have just a few more horsepower stock. but the lancer has a rapid fire dual clutch automatic transmission. it spends more time engaged into gear than the sti would.

top gear is always using the evo FQ320 / FQ360 against the base STI.

@ssbm00 sti's 0-60 is 4.8 and the evo's is 4.9. and this is from the same website

did they use a base impreza? there is no way they had an sti vs an evo or s4 cuz the sti would blow those two cars out of the water stock

That's why i don't watch Top Gear. They lie. Watch a few videos on Tskuba Circut. Subaru destroy all Evos.
