Paratroopers from the 82nd ABN DIV conduct air defense training with Egyptian forces during Exercise Bright Star. If you listen closely you can hear the whine of the remote-controlled target drone's engine.

The M167 Vulcan Air Defense System (VADS) was a towed short-range United States Army anti-aircraft gun designed to protect forward area combat elements and rear area critical assets. It was also used to protect U.S. Air Force and U.S. Army airfields.

  • @djfisher82abn Hey, I went to basic with Eddie O Toro and was with Bravo Btry 84-88. Eddie was a good guy!

  • @so2murad Son, listen up, and listen good; we've got "Good Ol' Boys" in the back woods building 4x4's to drive in mud FOR FUN who spend more then the USSR does in it's entire Military budget. And you know what? THEIR 4x4's work. Of the entire history of the USSR it's sol claim to fame was the MiG 15. That's it.

  • @BadBunnyRides idiot, go read a little about old shilka (which has automatic target recognition system that usa doesn't have today ;))), and today it is used Tunguska and most of all S-400, that no ass USA engineer is capable to design,

  • @Renafuse BF3 doesn't have VADS lol

  • @gerry7man555 I use this in bf3 :D

  • @McMeevin I just stumbled across this. On the tub is SSG Toro, Eddie O and Sanchez is PFC Robert Sanchez. I know because I was their PL. and FYI Sanchez is at the Sergeants Major academy

  • @so2murad Yes this was the shit to have compaired to that crappy old USSR stuff. The only hardware they ever had that was worth anything....they coppied from the USA....and coppied badly lol

  • Damn it Sanchez, get it together.

  • Oh, and also, how much ammo does it carry, etc?

  • Anyone know the performance statistics for this system? As in, what is the radar range, and the gunnery range? Curious.
