Is this what inspired that oboe melody in the movie "Mission"? It sounds like it could have. Zipoli apparently was a missionary in Spanish Colonial America...

@beanabeanabeanabeana I think the same!!!! I think that Morricone took inspirations from this music too for his music in The Mission! ;)
