02-08-10 - Ducati Track Day Part 2

Back at Silverstone for part 2 of my Ducati Track day, in which you can see Shakey Byrne take out the Multistrada, more of me on the 1198s, andI even get some decent scratches on my sliders and boots this time.....although you have to be careful when its someone else's bike!

In Part 3, I'll be out on track with Shakey himself, with him on a Desmosedici.....you do not want to miss that!

Nice scrapes on the sliders man! i am still pretty scared to go that far into a lean

@rgarcia145 I ruined my right hand toe slider and even wore a bit into the screw. I'll drill it out when I need to replace it. I found towards the end of the track day, I had my toe slider and knee slider down and I felt like rossi and I gained 80% confidence in the tyres and bike. I was a bit worried about droping it but the bike is so capable that once I got my knee down and couldnt get it back up. I just kept it nice and smooth instead of trying to go faster and I found it made me faster.

@Tugar747  I was there and I had standard exhausts on mine, but some of those bike had the full race systems and wow, the sound were amazing. I kinda felt jealous in the noise department. Shane burn also road a Desmosedici RR road bike for a few laps and it sounded absolutely awsome. The whole day were marvellous and I really enjoyed the food and hospitatlity. Great day.

i have never been that interested in ducatis but after watching your videos i am really really liking them now there amazing : ) !!
