Grandia PSX Lord's Ghost Optional Boss

This one was recorded before I was able to fix my sound problem. The replacement music also stops about halfway through and starts up again near the end. This is something I haven't been able to fix. Movie Maker can be quirky in all the most irritating ways sometimes. Still, the real content is still there. So on to the actual highlights.

I dove into this one as early as possible so I'm using Milda. Yes, Milda. Stop laughing. As before, multiple Milda Kicks do more HP and IP damage than a single Milda Hit. After seeing a hint of what the boss has in store, I actually take the time to scatter in an effort to reduce AoE damage. It works very well. The head and body share HP so it's easier to cancel while still putting the damage in the right place.

Also: BEHOLD! OPTIC BLAST!

At about 5:35 I'm forced to try a Splitter to buy a little more time after a near-wipe. It doesn't work especially well. While Milda charges up, Rapp gets a "wtf" Mist Hide. Really... what the hell? THAT was the AI's best evasion point? Manual evasion is better than Mist Hide 99% of the time. Anyway, one Mist Hide misfire ultimately gives Rapp a chance to examine the floor more closely.

I really enjoyed this battle when I recorded it. The difficulty isn't up there with Leviathan, but it's quite a bit higher than other bosses at that point. It also rewards the party with the awesomely useful Lightning Sword.

I fought this boss with around level 25, He wasn't too hard, I've just have spam trained Justin's weapon mastery and spells... A LOT!

I had Thor's Cut, Lotus Cut and Ice Slash, And... Belive it of not, GadZap as well in this part.
