  • I agree with "username1p." The pedal makes the sound unclear and all "smudged" you could say. But the more important thing in an etude is the technique and the articualtion and accuracy of notes (for what an etude was made to practice.) So hte piano player here does a good job with that.

  • but its written legatissmo so people use the pedal to make it easier.

  • WHY DO YOU USE PEDAL, PEOPLE : CHOPIN MARKED NO PEDAL. i LEARNED THIS IN ONE SITTING. Cake

  • Obviously your teacher pays more attention to your left hand than your right. Someone needs Clementi in their life.
