Thanks for the note! I think I've always felt more sorry for Chris than angered at his style. Maybe he's a wanna-be filmmaker or failed actor, so his schtick with videos & his magazine/website is like his therapy, his veiwers/readers are a big part of it.
I think he's just being what most media are: hype & non-hype. He's part of the problem, not the solution, though he make think he's the messiah of indie cinema. As well, people like him go to the parties more than the films at festivals(yawn).

I know you left your comment two years ago, hwycine, but I applaud you. Good for you and your film. As for Chris, I knew him personally, many years ago, when he was first starting out on his bizarre little career, and he just talks a lot but really isn't one to give good advice.

Hey Chris, I asked you to review my indie 16mm cinema many years ago. You laughed and told me "Dude, nobody watches 16mm films anymore, get with the times." Thanks, I really appreciative your enthusiasm(not!). Since the day you told me that, I've done 650 full house screenings. Liar!! Oh, shave the goatie, you can't act hip, you either are or you aren't...dude.
