War is hell, and if you have a war that goes on for 8+ years, you are gonna drag the hell on as well. Just my opinion: Virginia Tech should think about changing their name.

This raises questions about how the Army, and the Military in general, let this one fall through the cracks. One has to wonder how many more nutjobs they let through overseas in the various countries they're in.
I've heard some fucked up stories coming out of SKorea and Iraq from the personnel I do know.

This Iraq/Afghanistan war is probably the longest in American history, the Civil War, WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam weren't that long. Regardless of your religion, just hearing those fellow soldiers age is more than a KICK IN THE GUT.
