Daniel Shilovsky aka Stimpack first appeared on Spherax towards the end of 2010 where he delivered 3 superb original productions as part of his 'Stimmin Beats' EP. Daniel has since gone on to appear on several top underground imprints including: Fatali, Particles and Mango Alley. Stimpack's newest offering for Spherax is entitled 'Doing Things' and it comes with 2 new originals and a remix from Jozhy K. The 'Doing Things' original begins with a distinct techno vibe that is both very modern and dancefloor friendly. As the clattering drums, futuristic accents and dancing electronics get added into the mix the groove is locked towards the breakdown. Here we are graced with some warm chords and a strong melodic lead that builds to a frenzy before the relatively stripped groove comes crushing down for the ultimate payoff.

Ukrainian producer Anatoliy Antipin aka Jozhy K returns to Spherax and provides the lone remix of 'Doing Things'. Jozhy received great support for his first Spherax release entitled 'New Start' which was released in July of this year. He's followed that up in fine style with a more than worthy interpretation of 'Doing Things'. Jozhy has come up with a more rolling, house inspired groove that's equally as infectious as the techy vibes of the original. The melodic theme is represented well during the breakdown but with an added twist that turns out to be quite the killer dancefloor hook.

The second original 'One Hour' closes the package out with a proper big party vibe. Grinding synths and some big epic stabs contribute immensely to the already solid groove and as the piece builds towards the drop the vibe is electric. The breakdown has all the melodic essentials for a magical big room moment. An escalating tension, enveloping bass changes and euphoric keys that should light up even the most discerning dancefloor!
