To me its as if they both knew something was about to happen between them and that just ruined it

It's like he's trying to get her to stay when he doesn't move out of her way at 1:56. Like he's telling her Ray is all wrong for her, like he's silently pleading her not to go...pleading her to just stay with him.

I think what makes the relationship on screen work so well is the great acting. Sometimes it's only the looks on their facts that carry the scene. The writing and the acting mess so well even if I'd like to see some things done differently.
