@CodeDuty I'm a Celtic fan and I have some geordies, and some mackems in my family, so I am delighted for you that Martin has become your new manager. The next few years will be some of the best of your life football wise my friend, enjoy it.

@Shaftsus Top 4 is a long way off. Sunderland fans are just happy to have a manager with a reputation in the game to be proud of. Regardless of what's gone on at Villa out of his whole career that's the only club he's had any problems with anyone at a club. Exciting times for sure

@CodeDuty hopefully he'll go to Sunderland lol if he does then you guys can start pushing for a top 4 place maybe next season if he gets the funding...

Welcome To Sunderland
Martin O'Neills Red And White Army!!!!!!!!!

@jdbhoy88 Only because he can win loads of easy meaningless trophies, and then you lot can tell us again what a world class manager he is.

You just don't get it do you? Maloney was a clear penalty, Craig Brown admitted it.
It was a penalty at Tannadice, 2 fouls on Hooper. Hooper's toe made contact with the ball, any contact by Pernis was minimal.
Forgotton about McGregor at Easter Rd already feigning a headbutt- Lafferty style- from Riordan?
Naka won a soft free kick v Man Utd, yes, but he was not a habitual diver, though if you say it often enough it will come true.
Fact is you have got 2 pens for nothing.
-
@goldenstar9 oh and maloney never v motherwell? well that wasnt a pen v dundee utd and u know it. broadfoot and beattie incidents werent penalties but i will admit it. mcGregor incident? was that this season? as far as i can see the tims are deliberately puttin pressure on refs. nakamura used to make a habit of winnin soft free kicks. can u admit that though? i wouldnt think so! lol

@1690KWilliam And how is my attitude hypocritical?
Apart from the McGregor incident, Broadfoot and Beattie have went down rather easily in the box, with an ever obliging referee willing to point to the spot.
Remind me of all the "diving" we have been guilty of this season- go on, tell me.
Even when we get a penalty, the ref changes his mind, could you imagine that happening to Rangers? No, me neither.
-
@goldenstar9 yea good players i will admit. yea and lafferty has cheated. but at least i will admit it. ur hypocritical attitude is typical of the tims! we have all seen mcgeady and petrov dive. take ur green tinted specs off!

@1690KWilliam Sutty Stan and Lubo are all fantastic players and gave us some memorable Hunskelping moments. How any Rangers fan with the likes of Lafferty in their team can accuse any other team of cheating is beyond contempt. McGregor v Hibs 2010 is another example of how to embarrass your club in front of a national TV audience. Feeble and pathetic.
Martin has every right to be bitter,Porto cheated the whole way through the game, then we later find out that the ref was in some way related to Jose.
Would to see Martin back at Parkhead with about £40 million at his disposal, but thats not gonna happen with the currant Celic board,Celtic is were is heart really lies though.
