  • That was rad! How did you talk the train operator into letting you put the camera upfront? Good job!

  • I didn't put the camera upfront, I'm standing behind the glass that is behind the operator. Usually trains in Japan have a view on the front and these new trains on this line have a particularly wide front window.

  • I kept noticing how many trains were coming and going - there seemed to be as many as three or four other trains at a time! And trains were following right behind other trains! Only in Tokyo, huh? good work

  • EXCELLENT! - Thanks!

  • I love this video, and downloaded the High-res version of it that you had posted on your website. Unfortunately, I don't know where that video went, and now the Geocities site is gone. Any chance you can post the high-res version of it?

Edit: Never mind, I found a copy of it on my flash drive. I still think you should post the high-res version of it.

  • Great video. Gave me a nostalgic feeling. Good music choice too.

  • awesome video, i love how the yamanote shadows so many other lines, you can see the seikyo line from harajuku to meguro, then the keihin e231 series shadowed the yamanote for a long time, the yamanote passes such cool sights such as the shinagawa train yards where they store many old vintage trains, never know what you might find!

  • my most frequently re watched vid on you tube.

  • Thanks for this train tour! I learned alot of how Tokyo looks now! And I was also looking for "Lucky Star" stations too! :)

Good Job and hope you have more!

  • amazing vid, thanks!!
