Nick: *calls after her* what if youre wrong?
Sel: *Turns around* what?
Nick: What if i knew that i would never get bored of you? What if nothing ever went wrong and we stayed together for years? What if we were just meant to be?
Sel: *hypnotized by his words before pulling reality back into her mind* theres no such thing, Nick. Maybe its just time for you to realise that theres a whole world out there and im just one girl... *turns around and walks away*
Nick: *whispers* yeah, just one girl i think im in love with...*turns and walks the other way*
*at Joes house*
Joe: *opens the door, sees Sel and waits expectantly* well... what happened?
Sel: *ignores the question, shrugs and walks into his living room* nice place...
Joe: Selly, tell me before i beat it out of you...
Sel: *turns and looks at him, a bored expression shown on her face* i dont know what youre talking about...
Joe: *nods to himself and tackles her onto the sofa, laughing while tickling her* tell me...
Sel: *giggling* ok, fine. I surrender! Get off, you fat lummox! *pushes him off her*
Joe: *pulls her down with him onto the floor, laughing*
Sel: *falls on top of him and lands beside him on the floor, laughing hysterically*
Joe: *props himself up on his elbow and watches her, chuckling to himself* so... what did he do?
Sel: *calms down and tilts her head to face Joe* he was trying to apologize...
Joe: *looks down, disappointed* ... and you forgave him, right?
Sel: nope.
Joe: *his face snapped up to her, his smile lit up his face and eyes, showing excitement and joy* WHAT?!?!
Sel: *giggles* i didnt forgive him, Joe...
Joe: thats awesome!!! *his smile immediately drops and his eyes droop as they search hers* but... isnt that what you wanted? To forgive and forget?
Sel: *looks at him, silently* not now, i know were both gonna get over this someday... but were gonna get through it together. If you ever wanna forgive Demi, you can, i wont hold you back. But with me and Nick... we wouldnt have got very far in our relationship anyway... *looks up at the ceiling with her eyes closed*
Joe: *cant tear his eyes away from her. Had he only just noticed how pretty she looked? How her smile always made him smile? How her sadness showed perfectly in her glistening eyes, made him wanna cry? How she always managed to look beautiful on the worst of days, and mostly without even trying?*
Sel: *keeps her eyes trained on the ceiling, feels Joes gaze on her* what?
Joe: *he pauses, studying her again... she was so different from Demi; Selena was colourful, she didnt try too hard but achieved what she wanted, she was funny, her smile lit up the room, her hair flowed and her eyes sparkled always capturing his. Demi was...* nothing... *compared to her*
Sel: *turns to face him* so what we doing today, partner?
Joe: *smiles at her* how about we just hang out?
Sel: *smiles back* cool with me.
*with Nick*
Nick: *walks in his bedroom and throws his books on his bed. He picks up his phone and dials a number before thrusting it towards his ear, frustration and anger pulsing through his body*
Demi: *on the phone* hello?
Nick: *almost shouting* you need to do SOMETHING about this. Clean up this mess once and for all...
Demi: *sighs* hi, Nick. Nice to speak to you, too.
Nick: Demi, im not in the mood for games! You HAVE to sort this out. Im dying, do you not understand that?!
Demi: *angry* Ive lost them, too. Its not just you thats suffering, you know!
Nick: *groans* can we just figure out what to do without fighting about this for once?
Demi: *calms herself down* fine, Ill come to your house later...
Nick: *groans* do you have to? Cant we meet at the park or something?
Demi: *rolls her eyes, angry* FINE!! See you there in half an hour *hangs up quickly*
Nick: *chucks his phone on his desk and collapses onto his bed, groaning*
