anyone wanna explain to me why there's a slideshow of pictures of some actress that seems to have no relevance to whats going on in the music? i ain't complaining, shes pretty hot, just a little confused

Gil Shaham does a beautiful rendition of this piece..since I am a lady the pictures don't do that much for me :) but she seems to be attractive :) I would rather look at Shaham...

this is my favorite second movement of all time. it's so piercingly beautiful, i cry every time i hear it.
though i have to be honest, those random pictures of that actress really annoy me because i just feel like they don't do the beautiful piece justice. i'd rather look at gil shaham.
but then again, maybe that's because i'm female :)

She's no more flat in intonation than many soloists get from time to time. It's just a few cents for a couple lines and a bit from time to time.
The orchestra doesn't have the best overall intonation. Perhaps she would have had more exact intonation had the orchestra been tighter.

@happypeanut11 My question exactly. I'm female and NOT floored by this woman's beauty like a lot of men .perhaps other women too...I LOVE THIS CONCERTO by Barber though..I'm an amateur violinist and recently played in an orchestra with a 13yr old prodigy playing this piece...PHENOMENAL...listen/vi
