The Office of Public Affairs at the U.S. Embassy in Tel Aviv invited the residents of Modi'in, a modern, planned city with an ever growing population in the center of the country, to a "Meet America and Get Acquainted" Day in the city's Cultural Plaza, as part of the city's first "Street Art Festival." Embassy-sponsored U.S. break dance and hip hop dancers, Geoffrey Chang, Gabriel Gerome Joachino, and Moises Rivas wowed the children, teenagers, and families with their "super-cool" moves before performing in the "Battle of the Year break dance competition.
The crowds then moved to investigate the Embassy's colorful booth, with bunting, balloons and give-away water bottles who were eager to enjoy the grassy flooring and comfortable poofs, watch street dance videos, inquire about U.S. studies, visas to the U.S. and to enjoy the American atmosphere -- right in the middle of Israel.
very nice of you to do that , now bring some of that also to your Americans living in the west bank !
