I shoot, practically, the same crossbow accept I use the sights on top of the crossbow instead of a scope. This makes is more difficult to aim but I can make comparable shots. Also, I span or cock my crossbow by hand and without a stirrup. I do this by setting the butt of the stock on the ground and pressing on the string till it fully cocks/spans. Takes more strength to do it but you can shoot much faster. Nice video but wish the sound was better.

hi QS. Thank you for your answer, i'll make it fix right away :)
Hi Jamboy,
I only assembled the parts that came out of the box, not hard at all,
but you need some technique to string the bow, or else the effort is
great, to do it right lean the whole rifle on its side, one tip of the bow
touching the ground, hold the other in your hand and pull towards you
as the butt of the rifle is pressed against your hips, this way you can
control the force on both sides of the bow evenly, then you put the string
on the upper end.

Hi Denny,
Had a similar problem with my crossbow pistol, the cause was the string passing over the bolt, and not hitting it in the groove.
the solution is the tighten the small tab that guards the bolt, the tighter as it will be the more accurately the string will hit the bolt.
Also you can purchase a replacement bow ( just the fiberglass bow) it costs peanuts and will restore your rifle to full strength for sure.

Yes, it is possible to cock it with hands, it is not too difficult but the accuracy of the shot gets worse because by hand you are not cocking it with total symmetric loading on the wires on each side, so this tends to kick the arrow a bit to either side.
I finally got to the point where i had one arrow at the tail of the other destroying them both, it was that accurate. ( from 10 meter distance not from 25 like here ).

Hi aweornae,
there is not much recoil, you feel the bump but it is nothing compared to a gun or a pictol.
But when you shoot the crossbow you have to be very still, and also the way you cock it has effect on the accuracy of the hit, so i used the hand cocking device which i built, i can cock it by hand but then it is not so accurate,
I got to shooting it so accurately that on some occasions i got one arrow exactly at the end of the other ( spoiling two arrows at the same time ;)

I have made this simple pulley, it was made of nylon string
approx 5 mm thick and 150 cm long, with two hooks with an eye
on the other side, the grip handle was made of a plastic bar of 2 cm diameter.
Later when I got used to pulling it ( 150 lb at end of pull ) i no longer needed this pulley.

its simple, use the cheapest scope you can find, my crossbow came with one in the box, but any scope for bb gun will do just fine and cost less than 10$
