This is a grist mill that my Great Uncle Snooks and Great Aunt Sabe operated since 11-10-1973. The stone was used on the property to make cornmeal and grits during the Civil War. The stone had laid down the hill til it was reused in the current mill in 1973. My cousin Albert now operates the mill on Tuesdays and Sundays.
