Keep in mind, the authority that the U.S. government possesses at our borders now affects two-thirds of the entire population. According to the new government definition, the border is now a 100 mile strip that wraps around the external boundary of the entire United States. This is an expansion of police and national security powers without regard to the effect on innocent Americans.

The Department of "Homeland" Security is targeting half the US population as extremists so they can expand the Global "War On Terror" and bring it right into the "homeland".

People who write and think of their country as the "Homeland" tend to think they can redefine torture, ignore international treaties, fund disinformation efforts, launch wars based on hunches and emphasize the power of the executive branch because they consider themselves the only ones who know what's right for the country.

The number of Border Patrol agents has doubled since 2000 making it the largest federal law-enforcement agency with half again as many agents as the FBI.

The Border Patrol is increasingly patrolling areas far from the border within the 100-mile band that now defines our "border".

There is increasing community resentment and criticism of the Border Patrol agents stopping local residents, both randomly and at highway checkpoints.

Pennsylvania To Target Aggressive Driving With Help From U.S. Border Patrol

State police will ramp up patrols of highways on Wednesday as a part of a tri-state traffic enforcement program.

Pennsylvania State Police, in a joint effort with the Ohio Highway Patrol, New York State Police and U.S. Border Patrol, will target aggressive driving, impaired driving and speeding during a 12-hour period.

Wednesday's effort is the second in a series of planned initiatives for the summer.
