Why Teens Need to Stay Out of Tanning Beds!

With prom season approaching, many teens are considering using tanning beds. Please share this 2 minute video with parents and teens. Tanning bed use has been linked to a significant increase in melanoma and other skin cancers. That tan is not worth it!

Ban tanning? Sure it's bad and people will die from it, but its population control. It's the same concept of cancer. If a cure is found then so many people would lose their jobs and we all saw how that worked out a couple yrs ago. You have a dumb idea.

WOW! ban tanning, are you kidding? Do you know all the benefits of tanning! Its actually used to treat cancer because it is the only safe source of vitamin D because you can not over dose, your body simply absorbs what it needs! Tanning increases circulation. Is used to treat certain types of irregular heart beats! Anxiety and depression and much more. Lots of things that are actually good for you such a tanning can be bad in excess amounts! Such as eating! I am very pro tanning!

whats the point of banning it?? those people are going to die anyways if they want to die tan let them its their choice if you dont wayto tan then dont they know the risk when they do go tanning just like if ur getting a car going for a walk eating to much food eating to less and drinking and smoking and swimming you can die from all these are you going to make vids or try to bann them??

@saverio1e Because there is in depth studies to show tanning beds can cause cancer while the most respected of health experts / doctors have said that unless you are constantly getting burnt, the sun won't cause Melanoma. And even then if you do put your self at that risk it is still a very slim chance.

Artificial lighting used to literally turn your skin a different colour... totally legit. Must have been the natural light.
