A roundhouse kick to swollen nutsacks - Entry to the last week of the pwnage olympics

As my last entry to the pwnage olympics I wanted to get some things off my chest, that bothered me in the recent weeks.

hmm, I think a lot of environmentalists can go overboard and be crazy, but if people actually want good info on global warming they need to go to good sources amongst the scientific community. I think the major disagreements in the scientific community are on how bad the effects of the climate change is and whether or not the trend will continue and whether or not we can significantly change anything,yeah.

good point. I think that the scientific community has shown that the development of the human race has had considerable impact on our environment. and as you say it's still an open discussion how big the impact is and how grave the consequences are. I just think it's crazy to simply deny this because of political views.

Onision's comment on the current issue of extinction clearly lacks the understanding that we are currently in the middle of the 6th GREAT EXTINCTION! Species haven't disappeared at this pace and on this scale since the last great extinction... I may be missing something, but I think TJ was being sarcastic w/ his prop.

Onision: "Whales are a food source..." Wtf? Who eats whales (apart from the Japanese, who also enjoy kicking beached dolphins to death)? I dunno what's going on in this guy's mind; nothing, by the sound of it. I'm a vegetarian, but whatever pro-veggie argument he was trying to make was buried by (as you put it), him being a condescending arsehole. Bizarre that he's pro-cow but anti-whale... weird.
