  • God bless you, Keybdwizrd. Your videos remind me of why I love synthesizers and electronic music so much. Ever since I heard Rick Wakeman in 1972, I've been hooked. Keep on keepin' on.

    Peace,

    JIm in Los Angeles

  • Thanks, hope you continue to enjoy the vids!

  • have you experienced problems with Virus TI Polar in Multimode?

I have Virus TI and in Multimode it's not working correctly.Off course Access don't give a shit.

    thanks

  • I haven't, but I typically don't use multi mode, I use sequencer mode instead (which is very similar). FYI, there are a couple of good TI forums, such as the one at virus dot com.

  • Sorry, meant to say virusti dot com.

  • The Virus TI in black with 61 keys is the exact same as the Polar, right?

Man, I want one when I can afford it!

  • Yes.

  • @redapple37 for me, it is virus all the way i wouldnt think twice, and one day soon i plan to get very ill adeed, infected to the core with a virus. the only virus i want is an access virus ti2.

the fact that it can be used as a vst in your daw, and in fact can be used as 16 vst simultaneously in your daw, and can be used as a audio interface as well for your daw, and will process audio thru its fx, puts it streets ahead of all others.

plus the synth is so versatile soundwise. pure quality

  • @Robbinsffxi he isnt using the sounds from the motif tho, he is using it to play sounds from a waldorf q rack, all the rest are from the virus.

  • i like it, nice!

  • Amazing, as usual Michael. Keep up the great work!

  • wow those are so different. Hope you don't mind me answering lol. Motif series contains sampled waveforms to recreate acoustique instruments mostly. While the Virus is a virtual analog synth, meaning it digitaly emulates analog synths from the early 70s and 80s in combination with new technology making it nice for classic electronic music as well as modern Trance and techno. Those two synths together makes great companions. :)

  • Do you know Michael Walthius? He's a legend.

  • VERY nice! Evocative and captivating sound and performance. Thanks! I enjoyed this!

  • I've got that midisport too!

  • oh man, rick wakeman is so amazing. i love that dude too.
